We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team in Sheffield. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional development of our students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to EYFS students with SEN needs, assisting with academic tasks and promoting positive behavior management strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, promoting self-esteem, confidence, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Assist in lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials and activities to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Flexibility, patience, and resilience in managing challenging situations and behaviors.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not necessary.
