**Job Summary**

Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Attendant to join our Passenger Fleet Transport Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional driving services to transport children and vulnerable adults to school and day centers around the Borough.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Drive mini-buses and passenger vehicles to transport passengers safely and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our passengers
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless transportation services
  • Operate a tail lift and associated safety equipment for wheelchair access in vehicles
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard and report any issues to the relevant team members

**Requirements**

  • Full driving license with a category D license
  • Mini-bus/passenger type vehicle driving experience
  • MIDAS qualification (training can be offered)
  • Experience in customer care, ideally working with vulnerable people or in a school or healthcare setting
  • Clean UK driving license
