Better Placed Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specializing in retail and hospitality jobs. We are currently seeking a Merchandise Planning Lead to join our team in Central London and the UK East Coast.

Job Summary:
The Merchandise Planning Lead will play a critical role in driving the development of our client's retail products. You will collaborate with the buying team to develop seasonal product strategies, sourcing plans, pricing strategies, and financial KPIs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the buying team to analyze sales performance, profitability, consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Determine stock requirements based on demand planning and obtain approval from senior management.
  • Develop commercial and exciting product ranges that meet strategic goals and deliver financial targets, with senior management approval.


Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced merchandiser with 3-5 years of experience in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of merchandising principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum
