Key Responsibilities- To provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their hospital stay.
- To work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- To administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by medical staff, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to hospital policies.
- To participate in ward-based education and training programs, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and advancements in surgical care.
- CURRENT NMC REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE
- Previous experience working within a surgical ward setting is highly desirable
- A proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
- A flexible and positive attitude, with a strong commitment to teamwork and continuous learning
- An estimated salary range of £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
