Senior Social Services Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Services Manager to join our team at Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. The salary for this post is £36,966 to £40,824 per annum, inclusive of a Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be responsible for supervising and managing staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our social care services and meeting all regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering high-quality care, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have experience of leading teams in a social care setting and hold a SVQ III (or equivalent) qualification. If not, they must be willing to undertake and achieve this qualification within 36 months.
This role involves regulated work with adults, so PVG membership is required. We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
