About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Nurse to join our dynamic nursing team at Coombefield Veterinary Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and contributing to the smooth running of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Head RVN, overseeing all aspects of the nursing team and ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with the Head RVN to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Head RVN in clinical coaching and mentoring of junior nurses, promoting professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, enhancing patient care and outcomes.
  • Work closely with the veterinary team to ensure effective communication and collaboration, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
