We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Nurse to join our team at Vetisco. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputise for the Head Nurse, overseeing the nursing team and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with the Head Nurse to develop and implement nursing strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Support the Head Nurse in managing the nursing team, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and hospital operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, including veterinary and support staff, to ensure effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements
