Veterinary Nurse Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Head Nurse to promote the highest level of clinical care and lead our team of 24 RVNs, SVNs, and VCAs.
This is a rare opportunity for a skilled nurse to model exemplary nursing, manage a large team, and oversee the day-to-day running of a busy hospital and branch surgery.
Key Responsibilities:- CPD facilitation and staff development
- Management of a large team of nurses and veterinary surgeons
- Overseeing apprentices and student nurses
- Coordinating work experience placements
This is an 'on the ground' role, involving 2 days of nursing and 3 days of management time and team development. The rota is 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
The salary for this role is up to £35,000 depending on experience.
About Our Hospital:We are a small animal, 1st Opinion, Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital in Devon.
We have excellent facilities, including 2 operating theatres, a self-contained dental suite, imaging suite, separate cattery, kennels, and isolation wards with silver standard ISFM cat-friendly accreditation.
Our hospital is committed to delivering high clinical standards and providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
We currently have a team of 11 Veterinary Surgeons (full and part-time) supported by a large Nursing, Reception, and Administration teams.
