About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospitality and Events Executive to join our team at Sedulo Group Limited in Leeds or Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional events and hospitality experiences that exceed our clients' expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a background in events and/or hospitality and a passion for delivering world-class events. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute event strategies, manage relationships with local suppliers and businesses, and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event planning and coordination, including venue selection, catering, and logistics.
  • Working with local suppliers and businesses to create links between Sedulo and the wider community.
  • Responding to hospitality and events requests from senior management and Heads of Departments.
  • Food and beverage management duties, including maintaining stock levels and planning catering for special events.
  • Ensuring hygiene standards and health and safety are upheld.
  • Providing general catering for the office team, including breakfast, afternoon teas, and social events.
  • Working closely with our People & Culture team, marketing team, and Social Media team to develop ideas for future team socials and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Conceiving and suggesting new ideas and concepts for events and hospitality.
Requirements
  • An enthusiastic and friendly personality with a passion for the hospitality and events industry.
  • Previous experience in bar, restaurant, hotel, or events hosting/reception work is essential.
  • Project management skills and confidence in delegating tasks to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation is preferable.
  • Efficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
