Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Account Manager to join our team at Seahorse Environmental. As an Environmental Account Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and team by monitoring current affairs, policy, and political developments related to our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor parliamentary news, events, and media coverage, and report findings to the team and clients.
  • Support client accounts and Seahorse with research and writing, including press releases, briefings, and reports.
  • Contribute to developing new business and creative pitches.
  • Attend events on behalf of clients (where appropriate).
  • Work alongside the team to drive Seahorse's social content planning and produce content across various platforms.
  • Assist with general Seahorse administration, such as marketing materials, website content, and maintaining contact databases.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the communications sector with a focus on client delivery.
  • Strong passion and enthusiasm for a net zero and nature positive world.
  • Basic understanding of the environmental and decarbonisation landscape.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative when needed.
