About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Account Manager to join our team at Seahorse Environmental. As an Environmental Account Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and team by keeping abreast of current affairs, policy, and political developments related to our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Half of your time will be focused on monitoring parliamentary news, events, and media coverage, and reporting findings to the team and clients.
  • The other half will be spent supporting client accounts and Seahorse with research and writing, including press releases, briefings, and reports.
  • Tasks within these responsibilities include contributing to developing new business and creative pitches, attending events on behalf of clients, and working alongside the other Account Executive to drive Seahorse's social content planning.

Requirements

  • Previous working experience in the communications sector with experience of client delivery.
  • PR and social media experience.
  • Strong passion and enthusiasm for a net zero and nature positive world.
  • Basic understanding of the environmental and decarbonisation landscape.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative when needed.
