CIWEM Board Trustee Opportunity

CIWEM (The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management) invites applications for two co-opted Trustee positions on our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee, you will play a critical role in governance, strategic development, and custodianship, working closely with our Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team. Your expertise and enthusiasm will be vital as we continue to grow and lead global engagement in environmental solutions.

About the Role
We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our Board of Trustees, who possess a passion for environmental issues and a willingness to serve as a non-executive director in a voluntary capacity. You will help set the long-term vision, oversee financial health, and ensure compliance with our legal and constitutional frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in up to 6 Board meetings annually (in-person in London or the Midlands and online).
  • Attend a full-day strategy review meeting in person.
  • Potential chairing of a committee.
  • Engage with a community of like-minded professionals and contribute to key CIWEM events.
