As a leading institution in higher education, Goldsmiths, University of London is seeking an exceptional individual to join its senior management team as a senior governance leader.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the university's internal governance structures are robust, efficient, and transparent, and that the institution meets its statutory obligations.

Key to this role is providing support for the chair and university council, setting the highest standards of corporate governance in line with the charter, statutes, and practice within the higher education sector.

The postholder will also lead an exercise with the power to have a transformative impact on the university's governance, driving change and improvement through effective governance structures and processes.

To be successful, you will require a developed understanding of how effective governance can support the effective running of a university or institution with a similar level of complexity.

Additionally, you will need to have outstanding communications and political skills, with an understanding of operating within a highly regulated environment, and experience working constructively with regulatory and statutory bodies.
