About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.

Your tasks will include managing EIA screening and scoping processes, preparing Environmental Statements, and reviewing technical input. You will also contribute to single and multi-disciplinary proposals bids, as well as the financial management of our project work.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a truly multi-disciplinary environment, giving access to a broad knowledge base with the support of experts across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects
  • Advise clients throughout the development lifecycle
  • Manage EIA screening and scoping processes
  • Prepare Environmental Statements
  • Review technical input
  • Contribute to single and multi-disciplinary proposals bids
  • Financial management of project work

About You

You will have strong environmental planning experience, preferably with experience working in the energy sector, and be either chartered or working towards chartership. You will have a broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, a working knowledge of different consenting regimes and development management procedures.

You will have experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, a track record of financial management of projects, and excellent communication skills at all levels.

Your ability to manage and mentor those around you will be an important asset.
