Job Title: Head of Corporate Risk

Cyan Partners is seeking an experienced professional to join our client, a leading full-service law firm, as Head of Corporate Risk. This is an exciting opportunity to support the firm's growth plans and ensure compliance with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deputise for the General Counsel on occasions and provide strategic risk management advice
  • Work closely with senior business stakeholders and other Heads of the team on governance and compliance matters
  • Advise on governance, including drafting and advising on the LLP Members' Agreement and other documentation
  • Liaise with external counsel and work with procurement on vendor contracts and commercial agreements
  • Undertake projects that support the firm from a corporate, commercial, and regulatory perspective

Requirements:

  • At least ten years' relevant PQE in general corporate/commercial work with significant regulatory experience
  • Strong people and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and lead a small team
  • Credibility and initiative, with a strong understanding of the SRA regulatory regime
