Job Summary

Sterlings is seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Support Analyst (VP) to join their Front Office Technology Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance across various desks and multiple asset classes, including credit and interest rate derivatives, credit default swaps, currency swaps, and interest rate swaps, as well as cash equities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance across various desks and multiple asset classes.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve processes, fix issues, and enhance software releases in UAT and Production environments.
  • Update support documentation and own the development once released.
  • Work closely with the business to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of financial trading systems and technologies.

Requirements

  • Strong application support experience within a financial trading environment.
  • Solid business knowledge of derivative products, including interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, exchange traded futures and options, and convertible bonds.
  • Proven technical analysis and investigatory skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with Ulinx/Linux and SQL Server.
  • Ideal experience or knowledge of Bloomberg TOMS, STP trade flows, and ION Marketview.
