Private Client Legal Secretary Professional

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Private Client Legal Secretary to provide essential administrative support to fee earners in the Private Client Department. Your duties will include taking dictation and typing correspondence, legal documents, and reports; managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and handling telephone calls; assisting with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Probate documents; liaising with clients and other professionals with excellent communication skills; maintaining and organising client files and records in line with compliance and firm policies; and providing administrative support to the team as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking dictation and typing correspondence, legal documents, and reports.
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and handling telephone calls.
- Assisting with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Probate documents.
- Liaising with clients and other professionals with excellent communication skills.
- Maintaining and organising client files and records in line with compliance and firm policies.
- Providing administrative support to the team as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need prior experience of working within a Private Client department; strong administrative skills and ideally a background in administration; proficiency in taking dictation and producing legal documents accurately and efficiently; and the ability to manage a busy workload and client-facing tasks. You should also be detail-oriented with excellent organisational and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
