About the Role

Page Personnel Finance is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing accurate financial information to support business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and implementation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to business leaders to ensure financial results reflect in the financial statements.
  • Accounting and Auditing: Manage the monthly closing process, coordinate with shared service teams, and ensure accurate and explainable results. Participate in audits, including SOX, and attend annual stocktakes.
  • Capital Approval: Administer and manage the capital approval process on behalf of the business.
  • Accrual and Prepayment Processes: Review and develop accrual and prepayment processes for retail stores, including utilities, rent, and rates.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Finalist or QBE Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or relevant finance degree.
  • Experience: Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
