About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Gregory House in Workington. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to work alongside our experienced team to deliver person-centered care, promoting independence, choice, and control for our service users. You will be responsible for providing support with daily living tasks, assisting with personal hygiene, and contributing to a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene and mobility
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting independence and choice
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
