Job Description

The purpose of this 6-month Fixed-Term Contract is to support the retail team in the management of funds on the Workplace platform, with a focus on oversight and governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the oversight and governance of investment funds available for clients and members of Workplace Savings products, ensuring they comply with industry regulations.
  • Mitigate any potential operational and legal risks to which Legal & General might be exposed.
  • Utilize and adhere to the Product Process to ensure products/funds are launched, maintained, and closed in accordance with Customer Conduct Risk Policy.
  • Deliver good customer outcomes in line with Consumer Duty expectations.
  • Support the technical oversight of the Workplace Savings fund range, including corporate actions, fund generation variances, and investment-related risks management.
  • Owning the production of fund management information for the investment proposition, driving efficiencies into the sourcing and sharing of data across relevant business channels.
  • Interface with and regularly review investment data from LGIM, other internal business areas, and external sources to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided to customers.
  • Respond to investment-related queries from internal business units regarding the technical aspects of the fund range.
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of Workplace defined contribution market dynamics.
  • Experience within the investment proposition and strategy team of a provider, asset manager, and/or EBC.
  • Working knowledge of fund databases, pricing, investment-related risks management, and fund governance requirements.
  • Relevant experience of working with unit-linked funds.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities against challenging timescales.
  • Knowledge of pension products, investment solution design, and strategy preferred.
  • Professional qualifications in relation to the role are desirable.
