Job Title: Soft Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Soft Services Manager to lead and manage the delivery of soft services functions across our NHS trust in inner London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the delivery of soft services functions, including cleaning, security, portering, mail, reception, catering, grounds, and pest control.
  • Ensure all statutory and NHS standards are maintained, services are delivered efficiently in line with good practice, and value for money is achieved.
  • Manage the Soft Services team, comprising 4 direct reports and 8 indirect reports, as well as outsourced service delivery partners.
  • Manage service contracts to ensure the service is being delivered in line with the contract specification, terms and conditions, KPIs, and value for money is being achieved.
  • Hold regular performance review meetings with team members to discuss progress, goals, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing soft services functions in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly across entire range of service operations, ensuring correct focus and priority is maintained and key initiatives and projects prioritized in accordance with the Trust's strategy and operational plans.
