Medicines Optimisation Lead Pharmacist

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medicines Optimisation Lead Pharmacist to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the Medicines Optimisation team in delivering high-quality medicines management and optimisation across the trust.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead on coordinating, monitoring and analysing medicines related cost improvement programmes.
- To develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Pharmacy plus 1 year pre-registration training plus specialist knowledge required through diploma level experience.
- Experience in supervising and managing pharmacists & pharmacy technicians and performing appraisals.

Salary
£64,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
