Your Background

We are looking for a highly skilled pharmacist with a strong background in clinical pharmacy and experience in leading or managing pharmacy teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in implementing cost-effective therapies, developing protocols and guidelines, and improving medicines management processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medicines optimisation strategies, ensuring compliance with national standards and best practices.
  • Lead the development of training programs and educational materials to enhance the skills and knowledge of pharmacy staff.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to design and deliver innovative pharmacy services that meet patient needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of medicines management initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure that all pharmacy activities are aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives and priorities.

A competitive salary package, reflecting the importance of this role, includes a basic salary of approximately £90,000-£120,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development.
