About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware and Test Development Engineer to join our team at Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for specifying and implementing test interfaces on new embedded projects, implementing automatic and semi-automatic testing using off-the-shelf or bespoke test equipment, and developing and implementing unit test frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement firmware for new product development
  • Develop and implement unit test frameworks
  • Implement automatic and semi-automatic testing using off-the-shelf or bespoke test equipment
  • Specify and implement test interfaces on new embedded projects

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of standard lab test equipment
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++, C#, Python, or LabVIEW
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Use of spectrum analysers
  • Use of Source code repository GIT
  • MSOffice Applications
