About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware and Test Development Engineer to join our team at Carrier Global Corporation. As a key member of our Electronic Modular Services (EMS) division, you will be responsible for developing and implementing firmware and test solutions for our innovative safety systems.

As a Firmware and Test Development Engineer, you will work closely with our international team to design, develop, and test firmware and software for our products. You will be responsible for specifying and implementing test interfaces, developing and implementing unit test frameworks, and specifying, designing, and implementing firmware for new product development.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in firmware and software development, with experience in C/C++/C# programming languages. You will also have a good understanding of standard lab test equipment and be able to read schematics. Familiarity with Git source code repository and MSOffice applications is also a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specifying and implementing test interfaces on new embedded projects
  • Implementing automatic and semi-automatic testing using off-the-shelf or bespoke test equipment
  • Development and implementation of unit test frameworks
  • Specification, design, and implementation of firmware for new product development
