About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware and Test Development Engineer to join our team at Carrier Global Corporation. As a key member of our Electronics Modular Services (EMS) division, you will be responsible for developing and implementing firmware and test solutions for our cutting-edge safety and security systems.

As a Firmware and Test Development Engineer, you will work closely with our international team to design, develop, and test firmware and software for our wireless safety systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, which are used to protect people's lives and property around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specifying and implementing test interfaces on new embedded projects
  • Implementing automatic and semi-automatic testing using off-the-shelf or bespoke test equipment
  • Developing and implementing unit test frameworks
  • Specifying, designing, and implementing firmware for new product development
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of standard lab test equipment
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++, C#, Python, or LabVIEW
  • Ability to read schematics and use spectrum analyzers
  • Experience with source code repository GIT and MS Office applications
