About the Role

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a skilled Firmware and Test Development Engineer to join our team in Herne Bay, Kent. As a member of our Electronic Modular Services (EMS) team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing firmware for our life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specifying and implementing test interfaces on new embedded projects
  • Implementing automatic and semi-automatic testing using off-the-shelf or bespoke test equipment
  • Development and implementation of unit test frameworks
  • Specification, design, and implementation of firmware for new product development

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of standard lab test equipment
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: C/C++, C#, Python, or LabVIEW
  • Ability to read schematics and use spectrum analyzers
  • Experience with source code repository GIT and MS Office applications
