About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Social Care Assistant Manager, where you will play a vital role in supporting social workers in completing assessments, providing one-to-one sessions with applicants, and ensuring they have the necessary paperwork and understanding of the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with social workers, other professionals, and agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration to achieve optimal outcomes for children and young people.
  • Casework and Support: You will support social workers in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in the city through high-quality service delivery.
  • Record-Keeping and Administration: You will use electronic systems to maintain accurate records, communicate with stakeholders, and perform administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will require strong administration and IT skills, effective communication and relationship-building abilities, clear and concise record-keeping, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and agencies.

Salary and Benefits

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits that support your well-being and career development.
