Statutory SEN Caseworker Job Summary

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Statutory SEN Caseworker to join their team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Children's Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 0-25.

This role involves coordinating and managing EHC plans for children and young people with complex needs, including liaison with families, education settings, and health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct EHC needs assessments and manage EHC plans
  • Liaise with families, educational institutions, and professionals
  • Support families in understanding and accessing services
  • Regularly review and update EHC plans

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Knowledge of the Children's Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 0-25
  • Understanding of special educational needs within local authority requirements

Estimated Salary

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
