About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Policy and Regulation to join our team at Access Ltd.

Job Summary

The Director of Policy and Regulation will be responsible for leading our frontline regulation with a broad remit, including equality, diversity, and inclusion, skills and pathways, funding, student information, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead significant work across various areas, including equality, diversity, and inclusion, skills and pathways, funding, student information, and engagement.
  • Focus on pathways and skills policy, including implementing the Learning Loss Entitlement (LLE) and managing and distributing OfS funding to higher education providers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a leader in a complex environment, with the ability to motivate, develop, and deliver exceptional results through people.
  • Ability to make complex risk-based decisions, grasp regulatory and legal frameworks, and understand the role and value of a regulator.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £91,697 - £100,461, plus a generous Civil Service defined benefit pension and London weighting where applicable.
