We are seeking highly engaging and experienced maths and english tutors to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

About this role:

  • You will be working as a 1:1 tutor with primary or secondary children who have SEN/ SEMH needs or are looked after (LAC).
  • You will provide educational sessions face-to-face with children at their homes or a public space, such as a library or community centre.
  • You will plan resources around the child's needs and develop their knowledge in core subjects like maths, english and science.

You will need:

  • To have QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or have SEN/ SEMH experience.
  • To be highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children.
  • To manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies.
