Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Assistant to join our team at Link Group.

The successful candidate will assist in ensuring effective and compliant implementation of policies and procedures to support safe working.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and stakeholders.

About the Role

As a Health and Safety Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice on health, safety and welfare issues across the group and in relation to their working environment.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conducting workplace and site safety inspections.
  • Delivering health and safety training to management and operatives.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified to NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • IOSH membership at Technical or Graduate level.
  • Detailed knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Experience of providing expert advice to managers and operatives on health and safety.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
