Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Community Outreach Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our outreach service, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults who have been released from police custody and may have additional health needs.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and interventions with a managed caseload, working closely with the team leader to allocate referrals and oversee the triage process. You will also offer supervision and clinical oversight for junior staff, ensuring that they receive the necessary guidance and support to excel in their roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess a relevant nursing qualification (Registered Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse/General Nurse) and have experience working in a community setting. You should also be able to make decisions autonomously and assess, plan, coordinate, and manage individuals with mental health problems in a community environment.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £42,162 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including generous maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, options for flexible working, up to 27 days annual leave (increasing with service up to 33 days), and extensive Health and Wellbeing support and resources.

In addition, we provide lease cars for staff who complete over 500 business miles per annum, fully insured and maintained, mileage paid at lease car rate. We also offer salary sacrifice bikes up to £2k and free car parking at all trust sites.
