Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your exceptional keyboard skills to produce high-quality documents with a typing speed of approximately 65 wpm.
  • Manage emails and electronic diaries through Outlook, ensuring seamless communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Operate our firm's Case Management system effectively, ensuring all documents and correspondence are stored correctly and easily accessible.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other contacts during the course of a matter, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Populate forms using the Oyez system as required by each department, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Undertake all electronic filing daily to keep files up to date, ensuring our clients' information is secure and easily accessible.
  • Prioritize your workload to manage time and tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Adhere to our firm's procedures, including Accounts procedures, maintaining confidentiality and upholding our high standards.
  • Organize your work and tasks efficiently to ensure maximum output and accuracy, providing support to the Managing Partner as needed.
  • Provide cover for reception as needed, ensuring our clients receive a seamless experience.
Requirements:
  • Legal secretarial and/or paralegal experience, with a focus on family law, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Word for document production using audio digital dictation, with a strong understanding of formatting and layout.
  • Familiarity with case management systems and electronic filing, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to use Oyez forms system, with a strong understanding of its functionality and benefits.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Commitment to following firm procedures and maintaining confidentiality, upholding our high standards.
