Senior Radiographer Opportunity

Spire Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer to take on a leadership role in our Imaging Department. As a Radiology Department Leader, you will be responsible for championing and inspiring the radiology team, helping to plan and allocate resources, and implementing and monitoring working processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Department and Director of Clinical Services
  • Be responsible for the effective use of physical and financial resources
  • Implement and monitor working processes and policies
  • Help to manage the radiology team to ensure accurate staffing
  • Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety, and security
  • Manage effective relationships with Consultant Radiologists
  • Take responsibility for clinical governance and audit in the department
  • Undertake clinical duties as required and participate in the departmental on-call rota

Requirements

  • BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • Significant post-qualification experience as a Senior Radiographer/Team Leader
  • Experience of leading teams, supervision, and mentoring
  • The ability to think analytically and problem-solve
  • Experience in RIS/PACS and IEP system management
  • Evidence of ongoing and relevant CPD
  • Strong knowledge of IRR and IRMER legislation
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills and excellent organisation skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
