Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national and local guidance.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to staff on safeguarding adults, mental capacity, and deprivation of liberty safeguards.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of effective systems for preventing, surveillance, and investigating safeguarding concerns.
- Identify learning needs for multidisciplinary teams and develop and deliver training packages to meet those needs.
- Provide safeguarding adults supervision to staff and support staff with complex safeguarding cases.
- Undertake safeguarding-related investigations as required and deputise for the Head of Adult Safeguarding when necessary.

Requirements- Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional HCPC registered.
- Substantive post-registration experience of working in acute hospital settings.
- Experience of organising and delivering training to multi-disciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of safeguarding adults national and Pan-London policy and procedures.
- Demonstrates an understanding of Trust Values.
