About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adult Safeguarding Practitioner to join our team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of adults at risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on safeguarding adults policy and procedures to staff across the trust.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to multidisciplinary teams on safeguarding adults, mental capacity, and deprivation of liberty safeguards.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of effective systems for preventing, surveillance, and investigating safeguarding adults concerns.
  • Provide safeguarding adults supervision to staff within the trust and support staff with complex safeguarding cases.
  • Undertake safeguarding-related investigations as required and deputise for the Head of Adult Safeguarding when necessary.
