About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our third annual Human Rights Forum, furthering our commitment to amplifying the global fight for LGBTQ+ rights and supporting LGBTQ+ people worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Human Rights Forum, aligning with Pride in London's mission and values.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with multiple teams and stakeholders, including elected officials, policy makers, and the international LGBTQ+ community.
  • Lead innovative and creative approaches to advocacy, ensuring maximum impact and reach.
  • Collaborate with our volunteer team to deliver a successful event, leveraging their skills and expertise to drive forward our operational plans.
  • Contribute to the development of our diversity and inclusion strategy, ensuring that our volunteer team is representative of the diversity in our LGBT+ communities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working across various human rights issues, with a passion for LGBTQ+ human rights issues and how to address them.
  • Ability to create and maintain partnerships with multiple teams and stakeholders, including elected officials, policy makers, and the international LGBTQ+ community.
  • Ability to lead innovative and creative approaches to advocacy, ensuring maximum impact and reach.
  • A friendly and welcoming induction course and a variety of training offered throughout the year.
  • A chance to broaden your professional network and play an important part in delivering the Pride in London event.
