About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cleaning Operative to join our team at Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas assigned to you are cleaned to the highest standard using the equipment provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleaning schedules and records of tools
- Operate equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and wet vac machines
- Comply with health and safety cleaning procedures
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the Facilities Manager/Senior Engineer
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Ability to operate equipment and communicate effectively at all levels
- Flexibility and proactive approach to work
