We are seeking a Personal Care Coordinator to provide personal care and independent living support to a young university student with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a positive impact in the life of our client, who is currently studying History at the University of Oxford.

As a Personal Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and administering medication. You will also play a key role in supporting our client's social needs, including engaging in conversations about shared interests and encouraging him to pursue new experiences.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of £180 per day (£1,260 per week worked) plus free accommodation when on shift. You will also receive 5.6 weeks' holiday pro rata and enjoy a range of benefits, including the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and inclusive environment.

About our Client

Our client is a young adult with a diagnosis of Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, who requires support with certain aspects of his personal care, medication administration, and general social support. He enjoys reading, watching quiz shows, and playing video games, and is looking for someone to share these interests with while also encouraging him to try new things.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and administering medication
  • Accompanying medical appointments and providing emotional support
  • Engaging in conversations about shared interests and encouraging our client to pursue new experiences
  • Supporting our client's social needs, including helping him to develop his independence and participate in university life
