About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Veterinary Practitioner to join our veterinary team at GLG Vets in Derby, Derbyshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary care to our patients and their owners.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week over four days with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care, including consultations and surgical procedures.
  • Ensure the health and well-being of all animals under your care.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage client communications effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine and active license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to animal care.
