Deputy Hospital Director Job Opportunity

About the Role:

Gilbert Meher is partnering with a private healthcare provider to recruit a Deputy Hospital Director for a specialist service catering to individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities, mental health issues, or personality disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership in the hospital environment, ensuring a safe and effective healthcare delivery system.
  • Assume budgetary oversight and collaborate with the Hospital Director to ensure financial stability.
  • Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of service users, employees, and visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements, completing necessary notifications and investigations.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin.
  • Background in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Ability to lead and manage clinical and non-clinical teams, influencing healthcare delivery.
  • Awareness of the wider healthcare economy and political environment.
  • Detailed understanding of statutory regulations.
  • Capacity to oversee and deliver site projects.
