Head of Purchasing Opportunity

Bespoke Stairlifts Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Purchasing to join our team. As a senior role, you will be responsible for managing a small team and overseeing inventory control throughout the manufacturing cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecast and mitigate risk within the supply chain.
  • Plan and implement a procurement budget with a strong focus on cost reduction.
  • Manage and report on supplier performance.
  • Materials cost and quality ownership.
  • Work with the Head of Quality to implement and maintain a robust Goods In and supplier quality check.
  • Management of the day-to-day purchasing requirements and team.
  • Management and KPI reporting.

Requirements:

  • Hold an appropriate qualification in a relevant business-related field.
  • High level of knowledge on Microsoft packages.
  • Champion change management.
  • Experience of Lean Inventory Management, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S desirable.
  • Excellent record keeping and housekeeping is a must.
