Job Title: Head of Aerospace

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious professional to join our team as Head of Aerospace. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a small team and overseeing the procurement process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecast and mitigate risk within the supply chain to ensure seamless delivery of products.
  • Develop and implement a procurement budget with a strong focus on cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Manage and report on supplier performance to ensure high-quality materials and services.
  • Take ownership of materials cost and quality, working closely with the Head of Quality to implement and maintain robust Goods In and supplier quality checks.
  • Lead the day-to-day purchasing requirements and team, ensuring effective management and KPI reporting.
Requirements:
  • Hold an appropriate qualification in a relevant business-related field.
  • High level of knowledge on Microsoft packages, with experience in Lean Inventory Management, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5s desirable.
  • Excellent record keeping and housekeeping skills are essential.
  • Champion change management and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
