Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Team as a Clinical Outcomes Officer. This is a part-time position (24 hours) based at Wrightington and Royal Albert Edward sites, with flexible working hours between Monday and Friday.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Outcomes Department with data collection, ensuring high standards and meeting national commitments.
  • Manage multiple databases, input data into the National Joint Registry, PROMS databases, and Amplitude Registries, maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Chase up consultants, registrars, anaesthetists, and theatre staff for missing data, answer NJR queries, and resolve problems.
  • Visit patients pre-op and on wards to provide information on NJR, PROMS, and Amplitude Registries, offering non-clinical advice on their care.
  • Obtain operation lists daily via ORMIS and input new registrars and consultants details onto the NJR database.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks on the National Joint Registry and edit stack, ensuring 95% data quality annually.

Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • 5 GCSEs or equivalent
    • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
