About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and management of complex mental health presentations.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of referrals and admissions to the service, using a bio-psycho-social perspective to inform diagnosis and management.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each service user.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to the development of service clinical priorities, ensuring alignment with national and professional guidelines.
  • Engage with service transformation initiatives, driving innovation and improvement in mental health care.
