Senior Sustainability & Carbon Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability & Carbon Consultant to join our team at Useful Simple Trust. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission to create a better future through sustainable design and consultancy practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead whole life assessments in accordance with RICS and GLA Policy Guidance
  2. Develop and implement circular economy strategies and report against industry-recognizable frameworks
  3. Conduct data analysis, form key insights, and develop strategies to reduce environmental impacts
  4. Design and implement strategies to reduce carbon and material impacts of development projects
  5. Engage with stakeholders to build support for proposals and report outputs in clear ways
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in environment, sustainability, engineering, or a related discipline
  2. Technical knowledge and experience in Whole Life Cycle Reporting and Circular Economy Strategies
  3. Interest in operational energy and net zero strategies
  4. Knowledge of policies and emerging solutions for carbon, energy, and the circular economy
  5. Chartered with a professional body or actively working towards Chartership
