At BeZero Carbon, we're scaling investment in environmental markets to deliver a sustainable future. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in assessing the carbon effectiveness of energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of renewable energy technologies, including traditional and emerging options.
  • Conduct in-depth technical assessments of energy projects, evaluating their environmental impact and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Analyze the economic viability of energy projects, considering factors such as development costs, operational expenses, and revenue streams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and implementation of our rating methodologies for assessing the carbon effectiveness of energy projects.
  • Manage and develop a team of analysts, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality carbon ratings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including energy project developers, investors, and policymakers.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, including traditional and emerging options.
  • Passion for sustainable energy and commitment to making a positive impact on the environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Experience in the energy sector, VCM world, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of conducting in-depth viability analyses of energy projects.
  • Experience with energy-related projects in diverse geographic regions, particularly in developing countries.
  • Experience in the economics of the energy transition, including project development, financing, and strategic planning.
