Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Consultant to join our Europe Total Rewards team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for applying, interpreting, and consulting on compensation and benefits programs at Vanguard, as well as carrying out total rewards processes and policies as directed.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits

  1. Manage vendor performance, track KPIs and SLAs, and formulate recommendations with Procurement, Legal, and HR.
  2. Oversee internal vendor governance and risk-related activities, including data security and cyber security.
  3. Develop, review, and implement benefits policies across European countries, ensuring timely implementation of regulatory and statutory changes.

Compensation

  1. Deliver ad-hoc and cyclical compensation processes, including benchmarking and annual bonus and merit adjustment processes.
  2. Support the identification of Material Risk Takers and Code Staff, and maintain the list for European regulated entities.
  3. Contribute to regulatory reporting and mandatory compliance reporting, including disclosures and gender pay gap.

Projects

  1. Lead research and planning for Compensation and Benefits enhancements projects, developing project plans with clear roles and responsibilities.
  2. Enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging global structures, teams, and resources.
  3. Manage benefits vendor relationships, including contracts and performance oversight.
  4. Apply HR policies and processes.
  5. Utilize advanced Excel skills, including v-lookup, countifs, and sumifs, with experience working with large data sets.
  6. Experience with Compensation and Benefits systems.
  7. Desirable: Experience with compensation principles, including job design, job evaluation, grading structures, and benchmarking activities.
