Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Care Facilitator to join our team at Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.

In this role, you will work closely with adults with support needs, promoting their inclusion, independence, and planned outcomes in a variety of settings.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing personalized support, advocating for service users' rights, and developing strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the rights and responsibilities of people with support needs, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

SVQ Level III in Care or equivalent is essential; however, if you do not hold this qualification, you must be willing to undertake and achieve it within 36 months of registration with the SSSC.

A valid PVG Scheme membership is also required for this position.

The salary for this position is £23,302 - £25,471 per annum, inclusive of the Distant Islands Allowance, with potential for annual incremental progression.
